Founder/CEO
Co-founder Derrick Purvey, son of Donald "Land Cruiser" Purvey, is a second generation racer and has been a part of drag racing practically since the time of his birth. By age 18, Derrick won 4 races as a rookie driver at the 70-80 Dragway, driving his everyday street car. At age 25, Derrick bought his first drag racing car, a 1969 Chevy Nova, winning races accross the East Coast. » New Car in the Making! «
By 2008, Purvey Motorsports plans to introduce the second addition to thier automobile collection. The vehicle, a 2007 Pontiac GTO, is currently being custom built by our freinds at Suncoast Racecars (www.suncoastracecars.com), in Homosassa, Florida.

As you've obviously already noticed, Purvey Motorsports has now launched thier official, fully functional website.
We hope that you'll take advantage of this site and utilize it to track upcoming races, race results, as well as lead discussions with other visitors.
While you're here, feel free to join the fan club, it's free, and takes only about 5 minutes or so.
